For this series, I explored how American society and culture affects girls who grow up in America. Images from the media are constantly surrounding these fragile young minds shaping what they think their roles in our society are and also how they see themselves and those around them. I wanted to visually capture what these girls may be feeling because of these ever-present ideas and pressures they face on top of growing up.
